PROVIDE SPACE: "Interference" by Kumobako
Opening on Thursday 3rd of October
6-9pm

The subjective and objective world overlap and the interference between them is what makes us who we are.

These works are the result of exploring the magical phenomena which emerges from the interplay of light refraction and diffusion with 3D glass in a virtual studio. Taking inspiration from the surface of water, where wave interference creates countless peaks that shift and overlap to form new shapes and patterns.

The true beauty of this exploration was being able to morph and distort forms in a way that physical space would not allow and being able to bring those forms to life with animation.

The exhibition will showcase printed works alongside an audiovisual projection.

Please join me at opening night where I’ll be doing a live rendition of the immersive soundscape. The exhibition will run over the weekend until Sunday 6th October.

Kumobako is the solo audio-visual project of artist & graphic designer Ken Meyer. Inspired by the interplay of light, sound, and consciousness, Ken seamlessly merges his years of graphic design experience with his desire to explore artistic expression. Ken's multidisciplinary artworks resonate with an ethereal energy, seeking the space between analogue and digital, subjective and objective, physical and metaphysical, if there even is such a place.
